Within the next 10 years the global manufacturing of plastics will increase by 50%. By the time you reach the age of 40, you will have consumed 12kg of plastics. Microplastics have been detected in lungs, blood, heart, and the brain, sadly for pregnant women, microplastics are found in the placenta. The biggest source of Microplastics comes from the water you drink. Bottled water has an emormous amount of microscopic plastic particles in it. Tap water also contains plastics and PFAS.
